1) Clinician- full-time/exempt, LCSW/LPC/LADC Location/Program: Waterbury/Adolescents Program Summary: Clinician are responsible for the direct and indirect services to behavioral health clients eligible for, seeking, or obtaining services from the agency. Clinicians are recognized for their advanced degree and are licensed. They are credentialed by the agency to assess, diagnose and treat clients. Clinicians may also be assigned responsibility for the clinical supervision of interns and/or counselors. Clinicians are usually assigned a case load that consists of 60% direct service time and 40% indirect service time. Direct service includes assessment interviews, individual, family and group counseling/therapy. Indirect service time includes receiving supervision, staff meetings, telephone calls, treatment authorizations and all paperwork associated with client care and adolescent program. This position requires schedule flexibility.
2) Administrative Support - full-time/non-exempt Location/Programs: Out Patient Summary: . This position includes a variety of skilled clerical duties/responsibilities that include but are not limited to opening the office for business and performing tasks that keep the office operational and in line with its daily goals and objectives. Supervise and oversee administrative duties in conjunction with/or in the absence of the Office Manager. The position is critical to the department’s organization. Qualified individual must possess superior customer service skills and proven teambuilding and interpersonal skills. Requires minimum of three years of progressive adminstrative knowledge, skills and abilities. Previous behavioral health experience preferred. This position requires flexibility with day and evening hours.. 3) Case Manager - full-time/non-exempt Location/Program: Waterbury/Region 5 Program Summary: Provide and coordinate support services for substance dependent/mental health (co-occurring) adults (primary substance abuse/secondary mental illness). Expected caseload 25-30 clients. Develops positive working relationships with supervisor, co-workers, members of the case management team, primary clinicians and community programs. Performs case management in the community and home environment. Develops appropriate therapeutic relationships with clients. Based on screening and assessment, the ability to identify the case management services to be provided and agreed upon by the client. Facilitates admission and/or discharge from residential settings, i.e. hospitals, detoxification, residential treatment. Assists the client in securing community living arrangements. Assists the client with applications for benefits and entitlements. Assess and refer clients to the most appropriate treatment settings. Coordinate and participate in the development of an individual community service plan ensuring the participation of all interested parties. BA or Associates Degree with two years of experience in the field of substance abuse and co-occurring. Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) preferred. Candidate must be flexible, with a high degree of motivation, exercise good judgment, and be able to work independently. 4) Accounting Manager - full-time/exempt Location/Programs: Waterbury Summary: Manages the daily activity of the Accounting Department, including supervision of Junior Accountant and Accounting Clerks. Reports to and works with the Vice President of Finance, trains and provides support to staff and evaluates performance. Responsible for Financial Reporting and its related tasks; maintain and process of ADP payroll function; Inventory system; coodinate anual internal audit, provide support to HR as needed. Keeps VP appraised on issues and opportunities in the department on a regular basis. Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting; minimum 5 years in progressive accounting experience required. Familiar with State cost Standards process desirable and ADP payroll software required. Coordinate annual audit.
